Melanie has been a minority in her industry for her entire career and came back to corporate sales after many years of being a business owner and raising her children.

Melanie lives on a horse ranch in Texas and breeds competitive performance cutting horses and holds retreats on her beautiful ranch for women leaders to revive and refresh. She is a keynote speaker, soon to be published author and mentor to millions.

Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University. She is a Certified Transportation Professional in NPTC and a Certified Sales Engineer, NAASE. In addition, she has served on committees with four industry associations including the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion working group within ATA alongside Fortune 100 company representatives. As a mentor in Employee Resource Groups, she understands how to be a valuable resource to women and men in tech.

As a strategic sales executive and senior solutions engineer, Melanie has closed strategic accounts that are the nation’s leading companies in industries including transportation, food, industrial, biomedical, automotive, defense, oil and gas, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, distribution, chemical, paper, forest, water, waste and manufacturing.
